“I’ve known Chloe nearly her entire life, so I have great insight into who she is, who she has become, and who she is capable of becoming. I’ve been Chloe’s equestrian trainer since she was five years old, and from the very first day, I knew that there was something about her that immediately caught my attention…. an X factor. As a trainer, you work with a lot of athletes, and it takes a lot more than sheer talent to be a top athlete in this sport. Commitment, strength, dedication, responsibility, tenacity—these are some of the characteristics that are needed to shine in this sport, and Chloe has shone over and over, regardless of how tough things can get. Proving herself again and again, leaving nothing behind: these are qualities that I want out of someone on my team, and that will, in fact, carry you through life. It’s never all sunshine and rainbows, but as long as you tackle whatever is ahead with all your might, regardless of results and never giving up, well, that’s who Chloe is. It has been my pleasure to encounter this type of person/athlete and share the sport that we love with her. If she can make it in this sport with the incredible amount of success that Chloe has had at the very top of it, she for sure has the skills and tools to be successful at life and anything that she puts her mind to doing. My advice to whoever is reading this letter is to grab her before someone else does and she is gone. Don’t miss the opportunity—you won’t regret it.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Chloe for the last twelve years. She has been my student in riding horses and equestrian competitions since she was five years old. I feel through this journey we have had together over this last decade, I have been able to accurately assess her character, work ethic, dedication, and level of success.
As a young child through young adulthood, Chloe has always been very kind and compassionate to her equine partners. Horse competitions at the caliber she competed in are time-consuming, grueling, and fierce. Even at the hardest, most crucial points, Chloe always considered her horses’ well-being to be her highest priority.
Chloe more than once was in the top twenty-five riders in her category in the entire country. No one can achieve that level without talent and hard work; this dedication took her riding and competing all over the country, with difficult schedules that required sacrifices from her in other normal life categories. This was a six day a week training schedule with over twenty weeks per year of additional competition and travel.
I am sure that Chloe’s strong competition record can stand on its own, but I think it’s the times when things were difficult and competition may not have gone her way that are more telling of her character than when she had successes. I mentioned her care and treatment of the horses earlier, but it is important to note that Chloe was always incredibly kind to me, my staff, and other competitors, win or lose. Additionally, in the past, my business has donated our talents and our farm to outside camps, charities, and others in need, and Chloe always volunteered to help at these events.
Overall, Chloe is a great horsewoman, humanitarian, prominent competitor, and a lovely addition to any team or community.”

“I have enjoyed the privilege of being one of Chloe’s riding instructors for the last five years.
In that time, I have seen Chloe juggle the rigors of high school with the training and competition schedule of a professional athlete with the grace of someone beyond her young years.
As a rider, she has always impressed me with her desire to understand how to communicate clearly with her horses and put them first. For these reasons, horses tend to go well for her because she rides with a soft, consistent touch.
In an individually competitive sport, Chloe has shown a level of sportsmanship that endears others to her. Rooting for her is easy because she’s always rooting for others.
Chloe will make a great addition to any competitive team or scholarly community.”
